Non-toxic to bees and birds
Mode of action
All three active substances of the drug belong to different chemical groups, which leads to different mechanisms of action on pathogens. Systemic action: metalaxyl is effective in combating pore fungi and root rots, dimethomorph is designed to combat diseases caused by oomycetes (grape downy mildew, late blight of tomatoes and potatoes). Contact action: mancozeb prevents the penetration of new pathogens into the plant, therefore the greatest effect of its use is noted in the early stages of the spread of infections.
Features of use
The working solution must be used within a few hours after preparation. The most favorable time to apply the drug is in the morning or in the evening. In order to obtain maximum efficiency, it is necessary to ensure sufficient and uniform spraying of the aerial part of the plants. After treatment, the drug quickly penetrates the plant and spreads over it, reliably protecting against diseases. On vegetable crops, the first processing is carried out, as a rule, at the onset of climatic conditions favorable for the development of pathogens; prophylactically – before the appearance of the first signs of the disease, but before the crop rows are closed. Subsequent treatments are carried out after 10-14 days. Rapeseed is treated at the first signs of disease. The next one is in 10-14 days. In vineyards, it is advisable to use the drug preventively (prophylactically), before the appearance of symptoms of the disease. A delay in processing leads to a decrease in the effectiveness of the drug. Manual work on crops should be carried out no earlier than 7 days after processing, and mechanized – after 3.
